1. How do I choose between E20, A10 and BluSnap2? Which product is right for me?

BluSnap2 is the everyday cooler – if you are a commuter in a city that doesn’t experience super-hot summers (36-37C is the max. temperature), then BluSnap2 will work for you. We have now added a free deflector with the product that allows you to direct the air flow to your forehead. BLU3 A10 is the beast cooler – it has 3 speeds, and gives 2X the flow of BluSnap2 in the maximum setting. Customers have now tested it 43-44C weather, and have confirmed that they have visor-down comfort even at that oppressive heat.

BLU3 E20 combines BLU3 A10’s cooling performance with connected infotainment over Bluetooth – you can listen to music, make calls, get directions, listen to WhatsApp messages and much more with the E20. The following table summarizes the differences between the three products.

We are developing the equivalent of the cabin air-filters that are available in a car today. It will be our next step in delivering car-like comfort. We are going through final stages of evaluation, and expect to launch in the coming weeks.

8. Are the units waterproof?

The units have passed a 30 minute harsh water-spray test and can be used in light to medium rain. While our teams have used the product without any issues in heavy rain, we would like to do more testing at our end before we OK it for use in heavy rain.

9. Is this an AC?

This is a helmet cooler (it is a miniaturized evaporative air-cooler) which flows cool, clean dust free air into the helmet. It flows cool air into your helmet that is anywhere between 6 -15 degrees compared to the ambient temperature.

10. Are the units covered by warranty?

The units come with a six months warranty – on manufacturing defects and faulty electronics

11. How often do I need to wet the cartridge?

The wetness of the cartridge lasts between 45 minutes – 1 hr.45 minutes depending on your riding speed, the speed of the fan, the time of the day and the relative humidity in your location. If you are riding in 35degC weather @ 1PM with an average speed of 80kmph, you can expect the wetness to last for 50 minutes.

12. How long does the battery last ?

  • The battery charge depends on the fan mode.
  • Regular mode - 10-12 hours
  • Turbo Mode – 7-8 hours
  • Beast Mode – 3- 4 hours

13. How often should you change the filter cartridge?

The filter lasts between 6- 9 months depending on usage and maintenance

14. What is the difference between the Indian Edition and the Global edition?

The basic product is the same in both editions. The Global Edition comes with a complete set of extra spares so that the buyer does not need to worry about purchasing additional spares later. Individual spares are available for purchase on our website.

15. Where is this product made?

We are very proud of the fact that the BluArmor products are Made in India

16. What material are your chin mounts made of? Can they hold the unit?

Our chin mounts are made of nylon and use 3M VHB (very high bondage) tape to attach to the helmet. They have been tested at 160 km/hour for adhesion and stability. They are Go-Pro and Action-cam Compatible

17. Are you sold only in India?

We have sold in 14 countries and have sold more than 14000 units so far.

18. What is the Return Policy?

Due to the nature of the product, we do not accept returns

19. Which helmets do you suggest?

Our coolers can be used only with full-face helmets. Helmets are a personal choice and we would suggest trying on the helmet before purchase .Please note we recommend two fingers space (sideways) between your chin and the chin area of the helmet

20. Do you ship to…?

Our Logistics’ partner is BluDart. We ship to most pin-codes in India. In case, service is not available we can ship via Speed Post

21. Can this be used to fit to the PPE Units?

We are working on options to help Healthcare professionals. We will have updates on this soon.

23. Are your products usable around the year?

Yes, apart from cooling, they also provide filtration and defogging. The filter flows dust-free air inside the helmet so that you can breathe easy, even in traffic. The defogging function ensures visibility . In case of the E20, the Bluetooth connectivity feature enhances the riding experience with music, navigation and ability to attend calls.

We are developing N95 filters that are compatible with our helmet coolers. It is in the testing phase. We will be launching them shortly
