Our Timeline

2017
Foundation & Vision
BluArmor was founded in Bengaluru with a clear mission: bring car-like comfort, connectivity, and intelligence to two-wheeler riders.
The company focused early on deep engineering across mechanical design, embedded electronics, and software, building proprietary rider-focused technology platforms.

2018
First Category Creation (BluSnap)
BluArmor launched BluSnap, positioned as the world’s first helmet cooling solution.
The product introduced the idea that helmets could deliver filtered, cool airflow for comfort in traffic and long rides, aiming to solve a daily pain point for Indian riders.

2019
Product Refinement & Market Learning (BluSnap 2)
The second-generation BluSnap 2 improved performance and usability, while BluArmor began scaling distribution across international markets.
The company gained insight into rider behaviour and prepared for the shift from pure comfort devices to connected smart helmet experiences.

2020
Smart Helmet Breakthrough & Global Recognition
BluArmor unveiled BLU3 E20, a connected helmet cooling device integrating voice interface, infotainment controls, and hands-free communication. The product was showcased at CES Las Vegas, where it received the Innovation Award in In-Vehicle Entertainment & Safety, putting the brand on the global mobility tech map. The company also launched BLU3 A10, expanding its helmet comfort portfolio.

2022
Entry into Rider Communication Ecosystem (C30)
BluArmor launched the C30 Mesh Intercom, built on its proprietary connectivity architecture.
The device enabled group communication, phone connectivity, OTA firmware updates, and intelligent audio processing, targeting touring riders and communities.

2024
Redesigned the Wheel with C50 Platform
The C50 Platform redefined what an intercom could be. By moving the device to the rear of the helmet — a first for the category — BluArmor unlocked new possibilities in design, safety, and modularity. This shift laid the groundwork for MagDock, turning a communication device into a platform capable of carrying safety hardware. Alongside this innovation, HS1 marked BluArmor’s entry into urban commuting, extending its tech to everyday riders.

2025
Launched a Premium Intercom for the Masses
The C20 was built for where most riders start. Designed for smaller groups of up to 8, it brought the C50 Platform to a wider audience — same foundation, more accessible price point. For new riders stepping into group communication for the first time, it was the right device at the right moment.
It didn't cut corners to get there. The core capabilities that defined the C50 carried over — riders got a device that could grow with them, not one they'd quickly outgrow. The C20 proved that essential didn't have to mean basic. It just meant knowing exactly what a new rider needed, and delivering that well.
