What is the difference between HS1 and C30?The HS1 is a Bluetooth Headset designed specifically to be installed in helmets and can be used to play Music, take calls and assist with Navigation too. The device also connects to the phone and offers the voice assistant feature. The C30 offers all of these features and also has the ability to connect with another device to offer communication using Bluetooth and Mesh technology.

Can the HS1 connect to any other Motorcycle communication device?The HS1 is not an Intercom device and hence can’t connect to another motorcycle communication device. However, you can set the device to phone pairing mode and use the C30 to connect to it using RideLink mode.

Can the HS1 be used in rain?The HS1 isn’t IP rated but can be used in mild rain, drizzle etc as long as it’s not directly exposed to water. The unit can be covered using the visor of the helmet.

Is the HS1 compatible to be used in various helmets?Yes, the HS1 has been designed to be compatible with all motorcycle helmets including Full Face, Open Face. Modular and Motocross helmets.

How does one reboot the HS1 device?In the rare event that your headset requires a reboot, initiate this process, press and release all 3 buttons together once. This helps resolve any unusual behaviour and ensures optimal headset performance

Can the HS1 be Factory Reset?Yes, you can Factory Reset the HS1, this will completely erase all bluetooth settings and revert to factory settings. A long 10 sec press of plus and minus resets the device to factory settings.

How do you upgrade the HS1 firmware?HS1 is continuously updated with newer and better features. These improvements are easily updated Over-the-Air (OTA) via the app itself and you don’t need any cables or additional docks or devices. Check the app to see if you need an update. You will see an alert on the main dashboard if your device requires one. Use the app to follow the steps as mentioned , ensure your device is atleast 50% charged before you start the update and don’t turn off the device during the process. The app will indicate the progress status.

How long does the HS1 take to fully charge? Does it support fast charging?The HS1 takes ~ 1hr and 15mts to charge from 0 to 100 percent. The device doesn’t support fast charging.
